Dr. Chappell and his team of dedicated and trained staff members are skilled to handle patients who are in a critical care position.  Critical care refers to any patient who has life-threatening injuries and illnesses and needs constant, close care of doctors and nurses who are trained to offer such. Most often, these patients will require feeding tubes, IV tubes, ventilators, catheters and other equipment that are used to sustain life and aid in the critical care condition of the patient.  While many patients recover from their critical state, some do not. Dr. Chappell and his staff are available to communicate, aide and offer assistance with sensitive decisions that must be made in order to sustain life, as well end-of-life discussions.
